Changing your hosted e-mail over to the hosting lab could not be easier, just drop us an email with your requirements and user numbers and we will get straight back to you with a bespoke cost. Once it’s all been agreed you can then start changing over your users whenever you want, you have complete control.

 

We do know that not all businesses have the time or technology resources to manage this themselves, so for a small cost per user account we can remotely handle the changeover for you. To do this we do not need to come to site however we will need the following information from you;

 

• Access to all machines that currently have an email account on, this can be done remotely through our secure remote access software

• Passwords to all email accounts

• List of current email accounts

• Access to the domain where your DNS records are held

• Confirm what type of email system you are running

• Confirm where your domain is being hosted

• The Administrator logon so changes can be made

 

 

The steps needed to get you up and running are simple.  To start off we will confirm the date and time of change with you and then on the day (usually a Saturday) we will complete the following;

 

• Make changes to DNS records on domain platform

• Ensure all new email address have been created on new system

• Convert all old emails to a .pst file which can be imported in to new hosted system

• On each user’s  machine create the new email address

• Import all old emails in to the new system

• Leave machines on logged into the new hosted system to allow replication between the two

• Setup new email accounts on IOS and Android
